Good afternoon team; I normally don’t send out emails like this, but one of our DJ family members has encountered an unfortunate situation and needs our support at this time. DJ Fred Nice in Augusta lost his house and all of the contents to a fire last week. Fred has been a member of the squad since the 90’s and continues to be an advocate for Hip-hip, the mixshow DJ and urban music in general; he is currently a jock and mixer at WIIZ/Augusta, GA/SC. BELOVED HIP HOP DJs' HOME BURNS DOWN LEFT WITH CLOTHES ON HIS BACK
We need your help. Fred Hollins aka Big Fred Nice from the WIIZ in Augusta has met tragedy. Fred's house burned down to the ground on the morning of Friday December 3rd leaving him LITERALLY with just the clothes on his back, nothing else.
All 5 of his dogs DIED in the fire and all of his equipment he has NOTHING left. Fred's child passed away years ago and to him his dogs were like his children so this is sooo devastating that it cannot be put into words and on top everything ITS CHRISTMAS!
We thought you would like to know that he is in distress and needs support.
We really need the help to get the djs and industry etc to donate to help him and his family gets back on their feet. Fred has done sooooo much to help everyone with their careers and projects now he needs our help
